About Texas Holy Catering

Cody and Lauren Hays, a husband-and-wife team, whose main goal is to create memorable events and high-quality food products for others enjoyment. Both individuals were born and raised in Texas, from families with Christian values. They continue to pass those values down to their 3 daughters.

Cody’s parents, Uncle, and Grandfather started a food booth at The State Fair of Texas in 1988. He grew up in the concessionaire world, which led him to get his degree in Culinary Arts while attending college in Austin, TX. Cody spent almost a decade at the only 5-star hotel in Dallas, TX, The Ritz-Carlton.

Lauren was brought up with Grandmothers who loved baking and cooking, after spending time with them in the kitchen, she also took on a love of baking and learning.  Being with Cody for over 15 years, her knowledge and passion for food has only grown and improved. Lauren has been a Certified Health Coach and Personal Trainer for over a decade. She is currently working on her BA in Nutrition at TWU.

They got more involved helping Cody’s mother at BW’s Famous Fried Ribs in 2010, when they moved back to the Dallas area.  From there, it was a transition of ownership until they fully took over the family business in 2020. BW’s Famous Fried Ribs is known for Fried Ribs, Fried Banana Pudding, Fusion BBQ, and Cinnamon Glazed Roasted Nuts. Since becoming owners, they wanted to continue to expand outside of concessions and grow their vision of Texas Holy Catering, Concessions, and Confectionery. Offering everything from refined foods to homestyle meals. Seafood boils, company gatherings and small parties are some of their favorite types of events, but they can do so much more!
